Modern Dance
A single thought loops endlessly—a poison seed planted deep, blooming into madness. In this chilling Modern class, dancers will explore “Reap What You Sow,” a slow-burning, emotionally charged piece set to “Poison Tree” by Grouper. Through repetition, isolation, and unraveling phrases, the choreography delves into the suffocating descent of a mind haunted by grief and guilt.
Movements begin grounded and controlled, then fracture—gestures repeat, distort, and decay, like shadows trapped in time. Dancers will embody the quiet horror of memory that won’t fade and emotion that refuses to release.
Level: Open to all levels with some movement or contemporary experience
Footwear: Barefoot or dance socks

Classes are held weekly on Mondays from 6:45-8:00 PM and are instructed by April Alleman.
