What dance experience do I need to have?

Our dance classes are designed for adults of all dance levels who are ready to move with others, learn unique choreography, and have a blast in a supportive and fun environment. Each of our dancers have a different story, experience level, and reason for dancing.

Is UMAC the Diva Dancers?

Yes and No. UMAC is a collaboration of movement arts opportunities, events, and programs. The Diva Dancer program is just one of the many opportunities underneath the UMAC umbrella that men and woman can participate in.

Where are you located?

827 SE Cass St.Roseburg, OR 97470

We are downtown around the corner from the Rosebud Theater, and right next door to Downtown Fitness.  Our front door is on Cass Street. Just head straight up the stairs and follow the pathway until you see our sign on the left.

How does UMAC communicate class information with dancers?

If you are joining us for the Performance Season, please notify your instructor of your need to be added to the "Band" app. Instructors use band to post rehearsal videos, costume inspiration, and unexpected class changes.

If you are joining us for one of our one-time events, drop-in class, or other other movement opportunity, we will post to our Social Media and to our studio door in the unlikely event of an unexpected cancellation.

Does the Registration Fee go Towards my Class Fee?

No.  The registration fee is a one-time fee per season.  Registration and class cost support two essential areas within our organization. As a nonprofit, all fees collected are reinvested directly into the operation of UMAC. Registration fees help cover the administrative work that happens behind the scenes, while class fees go toward compensating our incredible instructors.  Additionally, your registration includes a free trial of all the classes during the first week of the season, giving you the opportunity to explore and find the best fit before fully committing.
