Enter a woodsy, hypnotic world where movement feels curious. Set to Magic Circle by Travis Lake, this jazz and ballet fusion piece explores the beauty, mystery, and hypnotic power of an enchanted herd. Through movement dancers will navigate with fluid precision, striking sculptural poses that echo the music’s rhythmic pulse. Through formation changes, intricate partnering, and dynamic movement, dancers will move as a living organism–at times serene, at times commanding, and always captivating. This piece will invite the audience into a magical realm where instinct overrides reason. Elegant, otherworldly, and enchanting, this curiosity serves as a reminder that not all creatures lure their prey with fear–some do so with organic beauty alone.
